Bugsnax is exactly what it sounds like, heading to PS4, PS5 in 2020

Bugsnax was today announced at the PS5 Future of Gaming livestream, a game about bugs that are snacks. Or is that snacks that are bugs?

“From the minds behind Octodad: Dadliest Catch comes Bugsnax,” its trailer details, showing how bugs can be strawberries and hot dogs and the like and also transform whoever eat them into beings that take on those characteristics.

It’s certainly a weird one. It’s not all cute, though… the you catch the menacing figure at the end? What about the notion that you can set your entire village alight?

Bugsnax is planned for a holiday 2020 release on both PS4 and PS5. We’ll have more on the game as it becomes available.
