Brisbane-based Defiant Development closing its doors

Brisbane-based development studio Defiant Development will cease production, it has today declared.

“Defiant has reached the end of it’s nine year journey,” studio head Morgan Jaffit wrote on Twitter. “I am exceptionally sad, but that’s not really germane. What is important is that some of the best game developers on the planet are now looking for new roles. Please get in touch if you’d like to help them land.”

“Sad to announce that Defiant are ceasing development of new titles,” the studio’s official account also tweeted alongside a full statement.

Defiant also posted a video of what would have been its next project: a digitised board game called A World in my Attic. It’s below.

Founded in 2010, Defiant has published titles Hand of Fate and Hand of Fate 2.
