Blair Witch heading to PC, Xbox in August

Blair Witch was today announced at Microsoft’s Xbox E3 2019 press conference.

Available on Windows PC and Xbox One from 30 August, the Xbox Game Pass title looks deliciously scary.

You can check out the game’s protagonist — and his faithful canine companion — below, seeming on the search for someone who’s gone missing likely due to the Blair Witch herself.

Blair Witch is a first-person, story-driven psychological horror game based on the cinematic lore of Blair Witch,” Bloober Team said of its newest game.

“It’s 1996. A young boy disappears in the Black Hills Forest near Burkittsville, Maryland. As Ellis, a former police officer with a troubled past, you join the search. What starts as an ordinary investigation soon turns into an endless nightmare as you confront your fears and the Blair Witch, a mysterious force that haunts the woods…”

Blair Witch heads to Windows PC and Xbox One on 30 August. The title will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one.
