Black Ops 6 readies anti-toxicity team for launch

Yay?

In an attempt to make a “a positive and welcoming” experience for all players, Call of Duty Black Ops 6 will activate an anti-toxicity team for the title’s launch.

“The Call of Duty team is dedicated to fostering a positive and welcoming community for all players,” Activision Blizzard said in a blog post. “Part of these ongoing initiatives involve the development and use of technology to help our teams combat disruptive behavior, in accordance with the Call of Duty Code of Conduct.”

The anti-toxicity team will deploy voice and text moderation systems already in use for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, with additional AI-powered voice moderation in all regions excluding Asia, covering  English, Spanish, and Portuguese languages. Further voice moderation in French and German will be available for Black Ops 6 at launch.

The anti-toxicity team will also be working to make continual improvements in hopes of a better player experience.

“The team is actively engaged in research surrounding disruptive behavior and prosocial activities in gaming,” Activision Blizzard continued. “The knowledge gained from these research initiatives are valuable input to be fed back into the game as part of Call of Duty’s overall strategy to combat disruptive behavior.”

Call of Duty Black Ops 6 heads to Windows PC via Battle.net and Steam, alongside Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, and PS5 on 25 October.
