Bioshock movie coming from Netflix, Take-Two partnership

Somewhere, under the sea...

Bioshock movie is coming from Netflix and Take-Two, The Hollywood Reporter has today proclaimed.

The outlet reports that Take-Two and Netflix will be joined by Vertigo Entertainment for the production of the film, which is also a vehicle to “develop a potential cinematic universe”.

The news was quickly followed by a confirmation of the project from several of Netflix’s social media channels.

“Would you kindly…get excited because Netflix is partnering with 2K and Take-Two Interactive to produce a film adaptation of the renowned video game franchise BIOSHOCK,” NetflixFilm asserted.

“Netflix + BioShock. Would you kindly stay tuned?” added Netflix Geeked.

We’ll report back as more is known about the film.
