Bethesda to detail the Elder Scrolls Oblivion remaster overnight

Set your alarm?

Bethesda finally looks ready to announce — or maybe even release — the long-leaked Elder Scrolls Oblivion remaster overnight.

Taking to social media, The Elder Scrolls account detailed a livestream about the remaster scheduled for 1.00 am AEST overnight on 23 April. That corresponds to 11 am ET, 8 am PT or 4pm BST on 22 April elsewhere (or check your own timezone here).

The social media post also shows a portion of the original The Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion cover and the title’s recognisable “IV”.

If you’re staying up to watch, we’ve embedded the livestream above.

It’s unclear if this is an announcement livestream that will then inform of us of a later date in 2025 that the remaster will become available, or if Bethesda will announce instant availability of the remaster. We don’t have an answer as yet, of course, but we’ll keep you posted as we learn more.

Are you excited for the Elder Scrolls Oblivion remaster? Why or why not?
