Bethesda today announced it has acquired Alpha Dog Games, a mobile game developer based in Nova Scotia, Canada.

Alpha Dog Studios was founded in 2012 by Shawn Woods and Jeff Cameron and is known for MonstroCity: Rampage! and Wraithborne on iOS and Android devices.

“We are impressed by the team at Alpha Dog’s commitment to quality and depth of experience in mobile,” said Todd Vaughn, Senior Vice President of Development at Bethesda. “We’re excited to have them join the Bethesda family.”

It’s unclear with Alpha Dog’s first project at Bethesda will entail, but it has been confirmed the studio will remain focused on “developing new and exciting titles for iOS and Android devices.”
