Bayonetta 3 release date confirmed for 28 October

Rejoice!

The Bayonetta 3 release date has finally been confirmed for 28 October, Nintendo announced overnight.

The announcement came alongside a fantastic new trailer, which we’ve embedded below.

“The witch is back! Summon, slash and slay in style when Bayonetta 3 launches on Nintendo Switch October 28th,” Nintendo UK said, simply.

It’s been a long time coming for the title, which was frequently rumoured and teased before a proper announcement back in December 2017. The title was announced to thunderous applause at that year’s Game Awards.

Expect Bayonetta 3 on Nintendo Switch from 28 October. A physical release of the original Bayonetta also heads to the Switch from 30 September if you need to play a little catch up.
