Battlefield 2042 PC specs detailed ahead of technical test

Here's what you'll need to be running.

Battlefield 2042 PC specs have today been detailed ahead of a technical test planned for later in the month.

Here’s what you’ll need to get the most (or at least some) out of DICE’s upcoming shooter.

Minimum specs

  • OS: 64-bit Windows 10
  • Processor: AMD FX-8350 or Intel Core i5 6600K
  • Memory: 8GB
  • Video Memory: 4GB
  • Graphics card: AMD Radeon RX 560 or Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
  • DirectX: 12
  • Online Connection Requirements: 512 KBPS or faster Internet connection

Recommended specs

  • OS: 64-bit Windows 10
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 or Intel Core i7 4790
  • Memory: 16GB
  • Video Memory: 8GB
  • Graphics card AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT or Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060
  • DirectX: 12
  • Online Connection Requirements: 512 KBPS or faster Internet connection

A technical test will be offered up between 12-15 August, VGC reports. We’ll have more on that event as its made available.

Battlefield 2042 heads to Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5 on 22 October.
