Amazon Prime Day heads to Australia later this month

Amazon has confirmed (via Finder) that Australians will gain access to Amazon Prime Day later this month.

Amazon Prime Day is a huge, 36-hour sale that will start at 12.00pm AEST on 16 July and run til 11.59pm AEST on 17 July. The sale is for Amazon Prime members only, but Amazon Australia only recently launched the program within our country, meaning you can take advantage of a free, one-month Prime trial during this time.

Amazon hasn’t detailed what will be on sale, though the retail giant has promised discounts on Amazon products like Alexa.

“This year, Prime Day will feature double the deals on Amazon devices—and the biggest deals yet on Alexa-enabled products like Echo, Fire TV and Fire tablets, in addition to new categories from home security to Echo devices with screens,” an Amazon representative stated.

We’ll have more on the sale as it becomes available. Here’s hoping for some good gaming bargains!
