Avowed charging $25 AUD for five days’ early access

Worth it? We'll leave it to you to decide.

Avowed is now available for pre-order on Windows PC and Xbox Series S & X, and through it, we now know of a $25 AUD option for those on Xbox Game Pass to play the game five days earlier than most.

A $24.95 AUD Premium Upgrade Option — discounted to $22.45 AUD if you have Game Pass — will provide five days early access alongside 2 sets of bonus skins, a digital artbook, and Avowed‘s original soundtrack. Without Game Pass, the Premium Edition of the title is priced at $135. 95 AUD and provides those same benefits.

Oddly enough, the Standard Edition of the title is $119.95 AUD, so it makes little to no sense to purchase it and the Premium Upgrade as it comes in far higher in total.

If you’ve got Game Pass and are patient, of course, you’ll be able to play Avowed from 18 February at no additional cost. Over on PC, “players with a Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass membership will be able to play Avowed on Battle.net by linking their Xbox and Battle.net accounts,” Microsoft also confirmed.

Are you hanging out for Awoved? If so, are you interested in splashing down more cash for five days early access? Why or why not?

Avowed heads to Windows PC via Xbox app, Battle.net, and Steam alongside Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X on 19 February 2025. Premium Editions offer access from 14 February 2025.
