Atelier Rorona’s remake classified as R18+ in Australia, as compared to the original’s PG classification

A keen gamer has taken to the Australian Classification Board’s website to discover that the Atelier Rorona Plus: The Alchemist of Arland remake will be classified as R18+The 2010 original, Atelier Rorona, was classified as PG.

The 2010 original was classified with mild violence and infrequent coarse language, compared to the remake’s high impact violence, mild impact language and mild impact sex.

We’ve contacted a Tecmo Koei representative to see if anything in the game has been changed to explain such a shift up the Classification Board’s scale.
