ASUS ROG Ally’s Australian pricing set at $1,299 AUD

ASUS’ new ROG Ally now has Australian and New Zealand pricing attached to it, and it’s surprisingly affordable.

The company’s new handheld — and, let’s just say it: a Steam Deck competitor — comes in just one confirmed flavour at the moment and is priced at $1,299 AUD or $1,499 NZD.

That’s what those in either country will be paying for the Z1 Extreme, with 512GB of onboard storage.

Pre-orders for the ROG Ally Z1 Extreme are now available through a host of local retailers, as follows (and with thanks to Kotaku AU!):
