Assassin’s Creed Mirage release date moves up one week

We can now expect the title from 5 October.

The Assassin’s Creed Mirage release date has been brought forward by one week, now expected on 5 October.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage has gone gold and is coming out a week early,” the franchise’s official Twitter account proclaimed. “On behalf of the entire team, we can’t wait for you to explore 9th Century Baghdad with Basim.”

The move means Mirage is the first big-name title coming out in October; it was previously nestled between Forza Motorsport and Lords of the Fallen in a month full of huge releases. The move also means it gets out of the way of titles like Alan Wake 2 and Spider-Man 2, coming 17 and 20 October respectively.

The title comes complete with a built-in historical database and a time to beat of around 25-30 hours.

Previously scheduled for 12 October, you can now expect Assassin’s Creed Mirage from 5 October on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5.
