Apple Music app now on Xbox consoles

Got a subscription? Play through your console.

An Apple Music app is now available on Xbox consoles, allowing subscribers to play their library from their console.

Available on both Xbox One and Xbox Series consoles, the app can be downloaded for free here.

A subscription is of course required, though a one-month trial is also up for grabs if you’d like to check it out.

“Experience music like never before,” the app’s listing reads. “Apple Music gets you closer to the songs, albums and artists you love. Get unlimited access to millions of songs and your entire music library.”

As with Spotify, you can set up the app to play music in the background while you’re inside an actual game.

Are you excited to see that Apple Music is now natively accessible on Xbox consoles? Why or why not?
