Apex Legends‘ next playable character is named Vantage, and we’re sure to learn more about them ahead of an August release date.
For now, a new short gives us a look into Vantage’s life, complete with a bat-like bet in Echo. It’s below.
“The only rule Mara’s mother ever gave her was to survive,” EA said, detailing the short. “In the ruins of the G.D.S. Vantage, that’s a hard rule to follow.”
Though Echo’s pretty much the best thing about Vantage, the character also sports a scoped weapon, perfect for those who like to snipe.
The battle royale’s next season is due 10 August; we’re sure to hear more about it before then.
Apex Legends is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and Switch.
