Apex Legends mobile release coming by the end of 2020

An Apex Legends mobile release on both iOS and Android phones will be available by the end of 2020, EA CEO Andrew Wilson has confirmed.

Wilson made the announcement in an investor call, below.

“Mobile, in particular, is a category that kinda spans across all of that,” Wilson said. “We’ve talked about having Apex Legends in soft launch by the end of this year.

“We feel very good about our mobile business.”

This month, EA and Respawn also confirmed that Apex Legends would soon be available on the Nintendo Switch and Windows PC via Steam.

Apex Legends is currently available on Windows PC via Origin, Xbox One and PS4. Cross-play is also planned for all platforms, though it’s unclear if the mobile release will be included in that.
