Apex Legends cross-play is coming, says Respawn

Apex Legends cross-play will head to the game down the line, Respawn has confirmed.

Speaking with Eurogamer, Respawn’s Drew McCoy said that the developer “plans to allow players to play with their friends on other platforms” in the future.

Sadly, McCoy said cross-saves were a different story, “due to the way systems were set up early on” which “can’t [be] reconciled after the fact.”

Still, cross-saves are exciting, eh?

Apex Legends is a free-to-play battle royale game set in the Titanfall universe, available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4. Stay tuned for an in-depth analysis shortly.
