Another new core Pokémon game coming in 2019

In addition to Pokémon Let’s Go! and Pokémon Quest, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company have confirmed that we’ll get a new, core Pokemon title in 2019.

The announcement was the third and final of the day, thanks to a press conference held in Japan this morning.

According to Eurogamer, the 2019 title will be more of a traditional title in the style of Pokémon Sun and Moon. For those unaware, Pokémon Let’s Go! Pikachu and Pokémon Let’s Go! Eevee was today announced as a core Pokémon title heading to Nintendo Switch in November of this year. This title combines elements of the core franchise plus Niantic’s Pokémon Go on smartphones.

Pokémon Quest will be a free-to-start title heading to both Switch and smartphones this year, though a specific release date wasn’t detailed.

Pretty good day to be a Pokémon fan, eh?
