Angry Birds’ second birthday means a new bird and new levels!

In celebration of its second anniversary on the App Store, Angry Birds has released a “Birthday 2.0.0” update with 15 new levels and a new Orange Bird. Also included in the update are new Game Centre achievements.

The Orange Bird expands at command, and in doing so “propels any object it touches.” Sounds like fun.

Angry Birds is available from the App Store at $.99 for the iPhone version or $4.99 on the iPad. If you’ve already got the game, you’ll be able to pick up the update at the low, low cost of free.

Oh, and sorry Android and WP7 gamers — the update only appears to be available to the game’s iOS iterations.
