Alienware’s Project UFO is a PC influenced by Nintendo Switch

At CES 2020, Alienware introduced Project UFO, a PC that looks and plays like Nintendo’s Switch handheld-home hybrid console.

According to Game Informer, the PC runs Windows 10 and comes with an 8″, 1200p display. Its controllers are attached with magnetic strips and the display itself has a back-mounted kickstand that offers the chance for tabletop play with controllers removed, just like the Switch itself. The unit also features a number of USB-C ports to attach a keyboard, mouse and more.

Alienware will be letting CES attendees try out games including Rocket League, Mortal Kombat 11 and F1 2019 on the prototype device.

We’ll have more on Project UFO as it is made available.
