Alan Wake teased for Dead by Daylight

Is the Champion of Light ready to take on the Entity?

Alan Wake is seemingly the next Dead by Daylight survivor, teased by Behaviour Interactive ahead of a full reveal tomorrow.

Behaviour took to social media today with an image of a flashlight illuminating a blood-splattered table. The words “learn more on January 9” — or 10 January here in Australia — accompanied the tease.

While Dead by Daylight does offer current survivors the chance to temporarily blind killers using flashlights, it’s hard to deny the Alan Wake-like imagery that the flashlight holds. It’s an object of power, you might say.

While nothing is confirmed as yet, fans are hoping that the Alan Wake DLC for Dead by Daylight will include new protagonist Saga Anderson alongside Alan Wake himself. We’ll of course keep you informed as we learn more tomorrow.

Dead by Daylight‘s been on a tear recently, adding Aliens‘ Ellen Ripley as its latest survivor and Chucky‘s titular Chucky as its latest killerAlan Wake would be the icing on the cake.

Dead by Daylight is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and Switch; it’s also available through Xbox Game Pass.

Alan Wake 2 is now available on Windows PC, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and PS5. It won Stevivor’s Game of the Year for 2023.
