Age of Empires Xbox releases coming in 2023

Two AoE titles will soon be on console.

Two Age of Empires Xbox releases are planned for 2023, Microsoft has today confirmed.

Players can expect both Age of Empires 2 Definitive Edition and Age of Empires 4 on Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X.

AoE 2 DE will drop first on 31 January 2023, followed by AoE 4 later in the year.

Moreover, Age of Mythology Retold is in the works from developers World’s Edge and Relic.

Age of Mythology Retold is in production,” they confirmed. “We know that the Age of Mythology community has been waiting hopefully for a Definitive Edition, and we’ll be delivering. We’re working hard to bring you the glory of the original game with updated graphics, features, and more.”
