Age of Empires 3 Definitive Edition release date set for 15 October

The Age of Empires 3 Definitive Edition release date has been locked in for 15 October, it was revealed overnight.

The pacage can already be pre-ordered on the Windows Store or via Steam, and those who subscribe to Xbox Game Pass can already pre-install via the Xbox Game Pass app. The package will offer up 4k graphics, rebuilt 3D assets, a modernised UI and cross-play multiplayer between Windows and Steam.

Moreover, those who already own either Age of Empires 3: Complete Collection or the combination of Age of Empires: Definitive Edition and Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition on Steam will be offered up a 25% discount.

Age of Empires 3 Definitive Edition heads to Windows PC via Windows Store and Steam on 15 October.
