Jump on in!

An Age of Empires 4 technical test will be offered to all this coming weekend, Microsoft has recently announced.

The test kicks off from 3.00 am AEST on 18 September and will run through to 3.00 am AEST on 21 September.

Players will be able to take control of the Chinese, the English, the Holy Roman Empire and the Abbasid Dynasty civs across a total of five different maps. A tutorial and multiplayer access (including matches against the AI) will also be up on offer to those taking part.

If you’d like to join the technical test, you can do so through the Xbox Insider Hub app on PC or via the game’s Steam page.

Age of Empires 4 heads to Windows PC via the Microsoft Store and Steam from 29 October. It’s part of Xbox Game Pass on the former.
