Activision Blizzard games heading to Xbox Game Pass, starting with Diablo 4

Activision Blizzard games will be added to Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft has confirmed, starting with Diablo 4 on 28 March.

Further titles and dates were not named in today’s announcement, made on the Xbox Podcast.

Accompanying the news, Xbox Game Studios’ Matt Booty confirmed that “all of our games will go into Game Pass on day one,” addressing fears that the value proposition of Xbox Game Pass would change.

“We know that Game Pass will only be available on Xbox,” Booty added, also quashing rumours that the company would try to get the subscription service on platforms including PS5 and Switch.

Diablo 4 is now on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5; it heads to Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass on 28 March. If you’ve not played it yet, we reviewed it here.
