A Thief’s End looks to be Nathan Drake’s last Uncharted game

Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann has told The Sun it’ll be too challenging to bring protagonist Nathan Drake back for another Uncharted game after Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.

“He’s at the height of his popularity, so it’s not a good business decision,” Druckmann said of Drake. “But I feel like the best way to honour him is to go out on top, to finish his story.

Druckmann pointed out that Sony owns the Uncharted IP and can continue making games past this iteration.

“But with the end of this story, it will be really hard to do a sequel with Nathan Drake,” he affirmed.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will be available from 26 April on PS4 .
