A Halloween Valentine coming from Melbourne’s Things for Humans

More pop-filled queer goodness, coming your way!

A Halloween Valentine is the latest from Melbourne’s Things for Humans, aka Jacob Leaney, aka Monster Mansion of Video World.

“Originating from a series of songwriting sessions in 2021, the title will act as a spiritual successor to the award-winning game, Video World, and is set to exhibit on the show floor of PAX AUS,” the dev has advised in a press release.

A puzzle-adventure pop album set in a haunted amusement park on Valentine’s Day, Monster Mansion has teamed up with K-Pop writer Alina Smith and Melbourne producer Dean Tuza for this new collaboration.

“The title also features multiple game modes to allow even those with no experience with rhythm to enjoy the game, as well as fully text based dialogue with dyslexia tested font,” the presser continued.

We’ll have more with Things for Humans on its upcoming release soon.

Supported by VicScreen and ScreenAustralia, A Halloween Valentine is expected on Windows PC and Switch sometime in the coming months. Get a taste of what to expect below (now updated with “Call on You”, a new track from Monster Mansion!).
