When do episodes of Star Trek Prodigy Season 2 stream in Australia?

We've got the answer!

Unless you speak French and can watch already, Star Trek Prodigy Season 2 is almost upon us! This post details when you can stream the season here in Australia.

All up, Season 2 of Prodigy has 20 episodes, and all 20 episodes will become available from 1 July 2024 in regions where Netflix is available. Here in Australia, that means all 20 episodes will become available from 3.00 pm AEST on 1 July 2024.

If you’re a subscriber to Netflix and not in Australia — or in a different timezone than AEST — you can check your own specific timezone here.

“Six young outcasts who make up the Prodigy crew are assigned a new mission aboard the USS Voyager-A to rescue Captain Chakotay (voiced by Robert Beltran) and bring peace to Gwyn’s (voiced by Ella Purnell) home world,” reads the season’s synopsis. “However, when their plan goes astray, it creates a time paradox that jeopardizes both their future and past.”

Star Trek Prodigy has a diverse cast of characters, including Dal (Brett Gray), Gwyn (Ella Purnell), Rok-Tahk (Rylee Alazraqui), Zero (Angus Imrie), Jankom Pog (Jason Mantzoukas), Murf (Dee Bradley Baker), Admiral Janeway (Kate Mulgrew), Captain Chakotay (Robert Beltran), The Doctor (Robert Picardo), Ma’jel (Michaela Dietz), The Diviner (John Noble), Drednok (Jimmi Simpson), Ascenia (Jameela Jamil), Doctor Noum (Jason Alexander), Commander Tysess (Daveed Diggs), and Admiral Jellico (Ronny Cox).

Paramount dropped Star Trek Prodigy back in June 2023, where it remained in limbo until Netflix swooped in and saved the show. Season 1 of the series is already available on Netflix.
