- The Final Mission: Start exploring the lower levels of ARK.
- Story-related and unmissable: We won’t spoil this any further.
- Hope and Requiem: Complete the main story by releasing Elpis.
- Story-related and unmissable: We won’t spoil this any further… apart from saying you won’t get this unless you read the description of this Challenge.
- Rookie Agent: Complete the main story on at least Casual difficulty.
- This is the easiest of Requiem‘s difficulty levels. Enemies are easier, resources are plentiful, and you’ll even recover health as time passes. You’ll want to play in this difficulty later on to earn others like Minimalist and Never Touch the Stuff.
- Rising Agent: Complete the main story on at least Standard (Modern) difficulty.
- This is the next step up. You’ll find it harder, but you’ll still be able to save as many times as you want without additional resources.
- Resolute Agent: Complete the main story on at least Standard (Classic) difficulty.
- This difficulty means you’ll need ink ribbons to save when playing as Grace. If you die as Grace, you’ll revert back to that last save rather than a checkpoint.
- Remarkable Agent: Complete the main story on Insanity difficulty.
- This is the most difficult of Requiem‘s difficulties. We’d recommend tackling it last, after playing through a couple times to get a feel of the game, and also after using Challenge points to buy items like the RPG and infinite ammo. Enemies are tougher (and WAY faster too).
- Out of Sight, Out of Mind: Store an item in the item box as Grace.
- You can get this in the Care Center; we did by dropping off ammo, and then re-collecting it. You could also drop off items like ink ribbons, or whatever you want, really.
- The Ol’ Fashioned Way: Use an ink ribbon to save at a typewriter.
- You can only get this playing in Standard (Classic) difficulty. As Grace, use an ink ribbon to save and voila!
- Like Mother, Like Daughter: Unlock a drawer with a lockpick.
- There are a number of lock picks and simple locks found in the Care Center and in the underground below. You’ll likely unlock this through normal play.
- Fatal Dose: Defeat a zombie using the meolytic injector.
- You’ll pick up the (purple) injector as Grace, and practically have a tutorial section to see how it works. You’ll likely unlock this through normal play.
- Science: Unlock a crafting recipe using analysis.
- The analysis machine is located in the Care Center Blood Lab, and has an item to analyse right nearby. Make all the points on the screen red orbs and you’ll unlock this. Then, make something for The Power of Blood.
- The Power of Blood: Craft an item using the blood collector.
- After you’ve analysed something through Science, craft that item (ie a meolytic injector).
- Blood! More Blood!: Use 300 microsamples of infected blood.
- You’ll eventually get a collection tool that lets you acquire blood from fallen enemies and buckets of blood that are littered about. Gather and craft as much as you can; this will likely come through normal play.
- Bring Out The Big Guns: Stun the Girl with Requiem.
- As Grace, you’ll eventually obtain Requiem, Leon’s weapon of choice. Use it to shoot The Girl — basically necessary as you’re opening a roof shutter — and you’ll obtain this one.
- The Hunt Begins: Destroy one Mr. Raccoon memoriam.
- There are 25 Mr Raccoons all throughout the game. This guide will assist in destroying them all, though you’ll likely get your first without trouble as Leon in the Care Center. See also You Little Rascal!
- Untouchable: Parry an enemy attack.
- You’ll be able to obtain this as Leon by pressing L1 on PS5. You can pair this with Cat Got Your Tongue? for two Challenges tied to parrying.
- Can I Borrow This?: Throw a weapon dropped by an enemy.
- As Leon, you can take down enemies holding objects; then, head to the object in question and wait for the prompt to allow you to mash it — you’ll throw whatever object (ie an axe) at an enemy doing so and can then obtain this Challenge.
- Chop Chop: Defeat three zombies with a hatchet finishing attack.
- As Leon, you’ll be able to stagger enemies with attacks (aim for a single spot like a leg, consistently, to aid in doing this), and you’ll generally need to use a melee attack to them but an enemy in an even more compromised position. When that happens, you’ll see a prompt with a hatchet icon — press R2 on PS5 when this happens to deliver a hatchet finishing attack. Then, repeat. You can see one such attack (and the Trophy) pop in the video below:
- Retail Therapy: Purchase an item from the supply box.
- As Leon, you’ll eventually get an ability to record kills for points. Head to a supply box and cash those in for weapons, items, or upgrades (see Tailor Made), and you’ll unlock this.
- Tailor Made: Upgrade a weapon.
- Use some combat points playing as Leon to upgrade any weapon, and you’ll get this. See Retail Therapy.
- Road Rage: Stop one of Victor’s attacks on the highway.
-
- In Leon’s motorcycle sequence, there’s a bit right after a couple rounds of zombie dogs. There, Victor pops in from the left and aims a rocket launcher at you; shoot him while he’s aiming to stop the attack. Here’s a video to help, specifically around the 20 second mark:
-
- Master Craftsman: Craft every possible item with Leon.
- Leon has nine total items to craft using gunpowder and other items. Make them all at least once. They are: Mixed Herb (G&G), Mixed Herb (G&G plus G), Mixed Herb (G&G&G), Handgun ammo, Shotgun shells, Rifle ammo, Machine gun ammo, Hand grenade, Stacked hand grenade
- Bang For Your Buck: Defeat at least three enemies with a single Requiem shot.
- You can get this as Grace or Leon using Requiem. Find a nice corridor with several zombies and fire one bullet to kill them all at once. There are a number of good opportunities to do this — one is as Grace heading towards the Isolation Ward before taking Emily (see Ben’s shot below), and there are more after Grace heads underground looking for the helicopter key.
- Cat Got Your Tongue?: Cut the tongue off a Licker B2 using the hatchet.
- Playing as Leon in ARK, you’ll have several encounters with the lickers. The first drops from the ceiling and is basically isolated from the rest for a long while — use this opportunity to parry (L1 on PS5) when the Licker tries to launch its tongue at you. Restart that nearby checkpoint if you need. Here’s a video to help:
- Order Up!: Defeat the chef in the care center in the main story.
- As Grace, and later as Leon, a big enemy will patrol the Care Center Pantry. Put him down with a couple Requiem bullets (or use your handgun after exhausting ammo) and you’ll get this.
- Deadly Duet: Defeat the two singers in the main story.
- As Grace, and later as Leon, there are two siren-like zombies on 2F of the Care Center. Either use Requiem or keep your distance and fire away with a handgun. These enemies are like Mass Effect‘s Banshees in that they use sound to disorient and harm you.
- Grace and Goliath: Defeat a Chunk as Grace.
- As Grace, kill the Chunk that roams the halls of the Care Center. You can use doorways to get it stuck and either plug away with your Requiem or handgun, then use injectors to eventually put it away. On Standard, it took me around 20 handgun bullets and three injectors… though we probably could have spared some of that, as you’ll see. Here’s a video:
- Internal Dispute: Make a zombie attack another zombie in the hospital wards.
- [Currently unknown.]
- Seasoned Pro: Defeat 300 enemies.
- You should get this through normal play in one run.
- Not Today, Buds!: Defeat all the Plant 43 seedlings.
- When you get to the underground section with plants, just make sure you comb the area and kill all that attack you. This will pop before getting to the main boss of this area.
- No Safe is Safe: Open every safe in the main story.
- There are five safes to unlock across the game. In our list below, “L” means turn left, “R” means turn right.
- Lounge Safe: L10 R80 L30
- Examination Room Safe: R30 L10 R50
- Workshop Safe: R60 L40 R80
- Sterilization Chamber Safe: R10 L90 R20
- Monitor Control Room Safe L50 R60 L80
- There are five safes to unlock across the game. In our list below, “L” means turn left, “R” means turn right.
- Crate Expectations: Open all BSAA containers.
- There are three containers in the Raccoon City outskirts where Leon needs to find detonator parts. Two are on the main street, and the other is back in front of the Applegate Hotel; use the subway to get back to this one after finding the key.
- Case Closed: Read all files in the main story.
- There are 75 total files to find in Requiem, and this guide gathers them all for you.
- You Little Rascal!: Destroy every Mr. Raccoon memoriam.
- There are 25 Mr Raccoons all throughout the game. This guide will assist in destroying them all.
- Speed Demon: Complete the main story by releasing Elpis within four hours.
- This means you’ll need to be speedy, know what’s where, and skip cutscenes for maximum speed. Run, run, run! You can use special items like the RPG and infinite ammo to make this easier.
- Credit Where Credit is Due: Earn 200,000 Credits.
- This will likely pop after a couple playthroughs of the game (which all count). If you’re going for a Platinum Trophy or all other Achievements, you’ll likely obtain this through that process alone.
- Bloodlust: Collect 5000 microsamples of infected blood with the blood collector.
- This will likely pop after a couple playthroughs of the game (which all count). If you’re going for a Platinum Trophy or all other Achievements, you’ll likely obtain this through that process alone.
- Model Mania: View all models.
- There are 44 different models to unlock under Bonuses, costing a total of 4,400 CP from completing Challenges. You not only have to buy each model, but then view each as well. You might want to consider save scumming to gain that CP back after unlocking?
- Curator: View all concept art.
- There are 56 different pieces of concept art to unlock under Bonuses, costing a total of 5,600 CP from completing Challenges. You not only have to buy the art, but then view each piece. You might want to consider save scumming to gain that CP back after unlocking?
- Never Touch The Stuff: Complete the main story without using herbs or med injectors.
- It’s best to do this on a Casual difficulty run (see Rookie Agent), and you might consider upgrading weapons (RPG? Infinite ammo?) and could potentially go for a Minimalist run at the same time.
- Minimalist: Complete the main story without Grace using the blood collector.
- It’s best to do this on a Casual difficulty run (see Rookie Agent), and you might consider upgrading weapons (RPG? Infinite ammo?) and could potentially go for a Never Touch the Stuff run at the same time.
- The Final Puzzle: Let the sweet pair hear the voice.
- [Currently unknown.]
- Requiem: Obtain all Trophies.
- See this list above? Get all of them for the corresponding PS5 Platinum Trophy. And congratulations in advance!
