Destiny 2 Forsaken Ace of Spades guide

Destiny 2 Forsaken is now available and we’ve got a guide here that’ll help you use Ace of Spades, Cayde-6’s awesome Hand Cannon.

Here’s what you’ll need to do, step-by-step.

Step 1: Prepare the quest

  • At anytime during Forsaken‘s campaign, head to Banshee-44 in the Tower to pick up the “Cayde’s Will” quest step.
  • Complete the last mission in Forsaken and return to Banshee-44 in the Tower. He’ll then continue the quest on with a series of further steps.

Step 2: Banshee-44’s requirements

You’ve got to do the kills in the order listed here, checking in with Banshee-44 after each step has been completed.

  • Get 5 invasion kills with a Hand Cannon in Gambit: This one is a bit weird and involves killing invaders in Gambit rather than killing people by invading. Use your favourite Hand Cannon — the Exotic Hand Cannon, Crimson, works a treat here.
  • Eliminate 250 enemies in Strikes with a Hand Cannon: This one’s pretty self-explanatory.
  • Get 25 precision Hand Cannon kills in the Crucible: Again, pretty self-explanatory. Aim for the head!
  • Search the solar system for Cayde’s personal caches: See step 3, below.

Step 3: Cayde’s caches

There are four caches to collect. As you approach each, you’ll get a little tooltip in the bottom of your screen confirming one’s nearby.

  • EDZ: In Firebase Hades, near some shelving at the second entrance.
  • Nessus: Head to the Exodus Black fast travel path, then turn right and head down the slope, past the teleporter.
  • Io: This one is inside the first open room of the Mines. It’s up on a platform above some rocks.
  • Tangled Shore: This one’s in the south of the Jetsam of Saturn. Head down and tunnel and keep to the left.

Would you rather use a video? Sure thing!

Step 4: One more mission

  • Complete mission “Ace in the Hole”: This one’s on Titan.

Once you’ve competed the mission, head back to Banshee-44 and earn your very special reward. Do Cayde-6 proud, Guardian.

Destiny 2 Forsaken is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
