Animal Crossing New Horizons Bunny Day egg guide

The Animal Crossing New Horizons Bunny Day event is on now, and this egg guide will help you to identify and source the six different eggs types scattered throughout an island.

Here are six eggs types alongside a description of how to obtain each:

  • Leaf egg: These are hanging in place of fruit on trees. Shake the tree to get the eggs.
  • Wood egg: These come from the wood of the trees themselves. Get an axe and start chopping.
  • Sky egg: These eggs literally fall from the sky — look for balloons with presents attached to them. Use your slingshot to knock ’em down and cross your fingers for an egg.
  • Earth egg: Grab a shovel and look for markings on the ground — dig at those spots and eggs should be yours.
  • Stone egg: Shovel in hand, start whacking stones to get eggs. Dig spots behind you so that you don’t bounce too far from the stone and you’ll be able to hit eight times.
  • Water egg: Grab a fishing rod and start fishing — randomly, some of those fish will actually turn out to be eggs!

With this knowledge in hand, you should have no trouble sourcing eggs for various recipes.

Animal Crossing New Horizons is out now on Nintendo Switch. For more on the Bunny Day event, which runs from 1-12 April, head here.
