Stevivor’s Switch GOTY 2017: Zelda & Super Mario Odyssey

Today’s Stevivor’s Game of the Year (GOTY) 2017 category is a bit of a no-brainer: Best Nintendo Switch title.

The winners? Easy — a tie between The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey, titles that launched the handheld-home hybrid and helped to drive holiday sales, respectively.

The two titles earned every single vote we Stevivor staffers threw up in this category, and mirrored our opinions for The Game Awards’ handheld category (even though they weren’t considered… oops).

Ben gave Zelda a 10/10 and Odyssey a 9.5/10 in his reviews, so you can’t go wrong with either.

Because of our votes, we’ve no honourable mentions.
