Destiny 2 Forsaken Week 6 Ascendant Challenge guide

The Destiny 2 Forsaken Week 6 Ascendant Challenge is now live, offering Guardians the chance to finish off one of The Dreaming City’s weekly bounties and grab some Powerful Gear.

What are you waiting for? Pop a Tincture of Queensfoil and get into it!

Week 6 Ascendant Challenge location

This week’s challenge is located in the Chamber of Starlight Lost Sector in Rheasilvia. Once you’ve popped your Tincture, you’ll find the ascendant portal right above the Lost Sector’s reward chest.

Week 6 Ascendant Challenge lore collectible

The lone lore collectible is left at a T-junction, rather than the challenge objective to the right.

A video from Ninja Pups shows you the collectible alongside all Taken Eggs (though you’ll need the Wish Ender for the latter).

Week 6 Ascendant Challenge combat and walkthrough

As per usual, the Ascendant Challenge itself revolves around getting into the Ascendant Realm and getting through a jumping puzzle before some combat. This week, you’ll be pitted against a number of Taken Knights Hobgoblins, Thrall, and Phalanx. Killing the initial Knights isn’t required unless you’ve a Purification Ritual quest to complete (it works a treat!).

Once you get to the end, you’ll be up against a final Knight — he’s surrounded by Shriekers that will respawn, so try to end the Knight quickly.

A video from Esoterickk, below, will show you how it’s done.

Week 6 Ascendant Challenge Cheeses

Need some help? I know I do. We’re on the lookout for any cheeses to make the affair a little easier. Stay tuned.

Destiny 2 Forsaken is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
