Microsoft, 343 say sorry for Halo: The Master Chief Collection with Halo 3: ODST

Late last week, 343’s Bonnie Ross took to Xbox Wire to again apologise for Halo: The Master Chief Collection multiplayer matchmaking issues with a remastered version of Halo 3: ODST.

As part of this new apology, those who’ve played The Master Chief Collection from launch up until the end of last week will receive ODST inside of Halo: TMCC alongside an overhauled Halo 2 “Relic” multiplayer map and a free month of Xbox Live Gold.

You can read Ross’ full apology here and the full FAQ for ODST here… but before you ask, ODST‘s awesome Firefight mode will not be included with the revamped game.

As far as timings go, gamers should receive further details on their free month of Gold in January, while “Relic” and ODST are expected in Fall 2015.
