Diablo Immortal adds the Druid in July

Get hype (for a mobile game?)!

Diablo Immortal will add the Druid class on 3 July, Activision Blizzard has today revealed.

“The Druids in Immortal are an entirely new breed. Being much more isolated from civilization than the Druids in other parts of Sanctuary, they have become even more primal, relying on speed as the core focus of their combat,” Activision Blizzard said. “They are the most quick, agile, snappy, and fluid version of the Druid class Diablo has ever had.”

The Druid will also be able to change into multiple animal forms, “including a Werewolf form and a Werebear form,” the publisher continued. “These beast forms each offer combat styles, focusing on speed and strength respectively, while Human Form utilizes spellcasting and ranged attacks. This variety enables dynamic gameplay across solo and group scenarios.”

Free to play, the Druid will be Immortal‘s ninth playable class.

Diablo Immortal is available now on Windows PC, iOS and Android devices. We previewed it here.
