Halo 5’s newest boss is a Grunt inside a giant mech suit

343 Industries today showed off the newest Halo 5 boss — the Grunt Goblin.

Seen above, the giant Goblin mech is piloted by a Grunt, and resembles a Grunt too. It carries a gigantic Needler, capable of taking down large vehicles. Its weaponry is powered by a large backpack, which should be disabled from a distance before Spartans actually engage the beast.

The Grunt Goblin will head to Halo 5: Guardians as a free update, also giving UNSC forces a new vehicle — the Wasp.

The Wasp is a craft designed for close air support. It can take off and land vertically and is quick enough for run and gun strike engagements.

The free update is planned for release soon on Xbox One.
