Microsoft is internally testing Xbox One TV DVR functionality

Paul Thurrott reports that Microsoft is currently internally testing TV DVR functionality on the Xbox One.

“A source very close to Microsoft tells me that the software giant is now internally testing TV DVR (digital video recording) functionality for Xbox One,” Thurrott said.

The update, “Xbox One Threshold Beta 1603 System Update”, will let the Xbox One record free-to-air television and will work while you’re playing games, watching another channel or even when the console is sleeping.

We’ll have more on this as it becomes available.
