The PlayStation Network is down

The PlayStation Network (PSN) is “experiencing issues”, according to Sony.

Account management, gaming and social and more are all experiencing connection difficulties, meaning gamers will have trouble launching games, apps and online features.

Attempting to logon to the PSN — at least in Australia — will throw up a message that reads, “The PlayStation Network is currently undergoing maintenance”, though no such work has been advised.

You can head to the PlayStation Network US or AUS Status Pages for more information.

The PSN has a experienced a handful of DDoS attacks since mid-2014.
