Watch Dogs does, doesn’t run at 1080p, 60fps on PS4 according to Sony

It’s a case of now you see it, now you don’t with Watch Dogs‘ graphical capabilities on the PS4.

Over the weekend, Sony’s PlayStation site listed Watch Dogs as a 1080p, 60 frames per second (fps) game. In fact, it was one of the game’s selling points.

“Hack everything as you make your way through Chicago’s underground as you experience Watch Dogs in a way that only PS4 can provide, at 60 Frames Per Second in 1080p,” Sony’s website said.

Flash forward to today, and the resolution and framerate statistics have been removed from the entry.

Neither Sony or Ubisoft have made comment on the issue.

Watch Dogs will be available on Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360 and PS3 from 27 May. A Wii U release will follow later.
