Microsoft: Xbox One heads to Japan in early September alongside a new Halo title

Microsoft yesterday confirmed that the Xbox One will launch in Japan on 4 September.

Microsoft also plans to release the Xbox One to 25 additional regions throughout September, but have only confirmed Japan’s release date at this time.

Microsoft’s website says that titles like Ryse: Son of Rome, Forza Motorsport 5, Kinect Sports Rivals, Sunset Overdrive and Dead Rising 3 will also be available at launch. Surprisingly, the site also says that Halo on Xbox One will be available at launch.

Halo on Xbox One was teased back at last year’s E3.
