Stevivor is an independent video games outlet that has serviced Australia, New Zealand and the world since 2009. The domain itself was started in 2000, and functioned as a personal blog at its inception.
Since its pivot into video games, Stevivor has been featured on Google News since 2014, and Apple News, Metacritic, and OpenCritic since 2016. We were added to The Game Awards’ jury in 2017 and the Game Critics Awards E3 panel in 2018. In 2025, we were added to CriticDB.
Stevivor was named as Highly Commended in the category of Best Independent Media Outlet at the Australian IT Journalism Awards in 2016 and in 2019, and has been nominated for Best Independent Media Outlet and Best Gaming Outlet numerous times. In 2018, Stevivor won Best Esports Coverage at the Esports Pro Oceania Awards.
