Zelda: Twilight Princess HD amiibo functionality fully detailed

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD is going full-blown amiibo crazy, and we’ve broken it all down for you below.

The new Wolf Link amiibo, only available (for now) bundled with the physical version of the game, provides acess to the new, Horde-like Cave of Shadows bonus dungeon, previously (and mistakenly) translated as “Thorough Battle: Trial of the Beast”.

Link or the Toon Link amiibo will be used to replenish arrows in-game, while Zelda and Sheik amiibo figurines will refill player’s hearts.

Cruelly — but appropriately — using the Ganondorf amiibo will cause Link to take double damage. Ouch.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD will be available from 4 March on Wii U.
