YouTube Red paid subscription service to debut with shows from PewDiePie, Tobuscus

Google today announced a new subscription service called YouTube Red.

The service will offer ad-free streaming and the ability for offline play, and will cost $9.99 USD per month.

Red subscribers will also be treated to several original series, including shows titled Scared PewDiePie and I Am Tobuscus. If you’re into that sort of thing.

YouTube Red looks set to launch on 28 October in the United States. Google plans to extend to other terrorities within the year.
