YouTube app on Xbox One can now stream in 4K

The YouTube app on Xbox One has been updated to stream in 4K on both Xbox One S and Xbox One X.

HDR, sadly, isn’t part of the equation — so don’t get too excited.

Users should start seeing their YouTube app automatically update shortly, though those who are impatient can head to the Microsoft Store to speed up the process.

What do you make of the update — are you happy enough with 4K capabilities, or would you rather enjoy videos with HDR support, Or, better yet, why not both?
