You can fly in Fallout 76 — here’s how

The right combination of perks and mutations will let you fly in Fallout 76.

Neat, eh? The only problem is, you’ll have to have played the game for a while… and you’ll need to be playing it with friends.

As discovered by YouTuber TYR, you’ll need the mutations Bird Bones and Marsupial. Said mutations make you fall from heights slower and achieve greater jump height, respectively. To grab the mutations, YTR recommends sitting in the Cranberry Bog at Drop Site C2, dying, reloading and server hopping until you become the latest member of the X-Men.

Next, you’ll need at least two other players, with everyone employing the Strange in Numbers perk. That particular card increases positive mutation effects by 25%, and stacks when all users in your party are sharing it with one another. The Class Freak perk is useful here as it negates negative effects that come with mutations.

Fallout 76 might be broken, but you might be able to have some fun as Superman. You might not be able to fly anywhere you’d like, but you can certainly leap tall buildings in a single bound.

Fallout 76 is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
