Yakuza 6 demo offered full game access, now pulled from PS4

The Yakuza 6 demo has been pulled from the PS4 PlayStation Store after Sega has confirmed it provides more access to the title than intended.

“We apologize, but have had to remove the Yakuza 6: The Song of Life demo from the PlayStation Store,” Sega said in a series of tweets.

“We are as upset as you are, and had hoped to have this demo available for everyone today. We discovered that some were able to use the demo to unlock the full game. We’re looking into the nature of the issue. Thank you for your patience.”

So, bad news if you haven’t been able to download the demo as yet… but good news if you have, as you may have the full game already?

Yakuza 6: The Song of Life is planned for a 17 April release on PS4.
