XCOM 2: The Avenger and customisation within

Stevivor spent some time with XCOM 2 last week and was able to capture video content at the same time. This video is a quick one, showing not only the inside of your command centre, the Avenger, but customisation options available for your soldiers.

XCOM 2‘s Art Director, Greg Foertsch, encouraged me to use the customisation options available to created a loved one in the game, but I declined… mostly cause I’m awful at strategy. Luckily, you can set chararacters as VIPs in order to retrieve them if they’re captured. Conversely, you can add soldiers to your pool to recall customisation settings a later date if they kick the bucket.

XCOM 2 heads to Windows PC on 5 February 2016.

Steve Wright

Steve's the owner and Editor-in-Chief of Stevivor.com, the country’s leading independent video games outlet. Steve arrived in Australia back in 2001 on what was meant to be a three-month working holiday before deciding to emigrate and, eventually, becoming a citizen.

Stevivor is a combination of ‘Steve’ and ‘Survivor’, which made more sense back in 2001 when Jeff Probst was up in Queensland. The site started as Steve’s travel blog before transitioning over into video games.

Aside from video games, Steve has interests in hockey and Star Trek, playing the former and helping to cover video games about the latter on TrekMovie.com. By day, Steve works as the communications manager of the peak body representing Victorians as they age.
