Xbox Live Gold, PlayStation Plus needed for the Destiny beta

Bungie has confirmed that Xbox Live Gold and PlayStation Plus will be needed for the Destiny beta.

Xbox Live Gold will be needed for, well, everything; PlayStation Plus will be required for “some activities”.

It’s a safe bet the above applies to the full game as well.

We’ll let you know what “some activities” means when more is made clear.

The Destiny beta begins this week on PlayStation.
