Xbox App on PC to let you choose where to install games

Rejoice!

The awful mess that PC gaming via the Microsoft Store is about to get a little less messy, with the Xbox App soon allowing users the opportunity to choose where they install games.

“Our gaming roots are on PC and we’re committed to improving and investing in Windows gaming,” Xbox head Phil Spencer said in a tweet.

“Our next upgrades to the Xbox app for PC include: More flexible installs and modding, faster downloads and native cloud support for quick access to console games,” he continued.

Insider access to the new features should be available soon, with the functionality heading into beta for all next month. A video below details what to expect.
